Siobhan's approach combines talk therapy with creative arts and a body/mind focus as it suits the needs of the client. At first the focus is on clarifying what your needs are and how you would best work together. Active listening and being present and responsive to you is the foundation for the therapeutic relationship. In her work with children Siobhan combines play therapy with creative arts, as children naturally express themselves this way.
Training and supporting parents, teachers and therapists in The Nurtured Heart Approach is Siobhan's latest endeavor. She became a certified trainer in June, 2020, inspired by the huge need that ensued due to the pandemic.
Siobhan's office space is convenient, comfortable, and conducive to safe, creative expression. Her style is comfortable, supportive, and fosters curiosity and growth.
